Dr. Gary M. Fowler is a board-certified primary care physician with a deep commitment to patient-centered, compassionate care. With over 30 years of experience in family medicine, Dr. Fowler focuses on building lasting relationships with his patients, taking the time to understand their individual health goals, concerns, and life circumstances.
He believes that effective care starts with listening — and that every patient deserves a personalized approach grounded in trust, respect, and evidence-based medicine. Whether managing chronic conditions, addressing acute concerns, or guiding preventive care, Dr. Fowler works closely with each patient to create treatment plans that support long-term wellness.
Dr. Fowler earned his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of Alabama - Family Practice Residency. His clinical interests include preventive health, chronic disease management, acute illness, sports medicine, occupational health, as well as promoting healthy lifestyle changes through education and shared decision-making.
Known for his calm, approachable demeanor and thorough, thoughtful care, Dr. Fowler is dedicated to helping patients feel heard, informed, and confident in their health journey.
Outside of the clinic, Dr. Fowler enjoys spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is an active member of Faith Church and values his involvement in both faith and community. In his free time, he enjoys golfing, fishing, and spending time outdoors. Dr. Fowler is also committed to community service and currently serves on the Board of Directors for North Mississippi Health Services – South Marion.
